Construction Coordinator/Foreman Role In New Zealand

Bei Group is a property investment company and due to its rapid growth of the company in the last few years, the firm is currently seeking a construction coordinator/foreman to support its commercial team. The role will be diverse and will crossover with a number of areas within the organisation.

Job Responsibilities

The preferred applicant will:

Complete mark-ups and manage documentation related to on-going projects;

Deliver a high level of customer service with Suppliers, Contractors and Subcontractors;

Carry out Data collection, entry and analysis & reporting;

Electronic file management;

Support the Operations Manager and Project Manager;

Produce Site Specific Safety Plans;

Manage subcontract agreements, guarantees, and contractor safety checklists;

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

Successful candidates should have:

Minimum of a High School degree or its equivalent;

Minimum of 3 years in relevant construction experience.

Job-Specific Skills

Analytical, organization, project management skills and attention to details;

Excellent, oral and written communications skill (ability to lead meetings);

Works inter-dependently — enjoy working with little or no supervision;

Excellent problem-solving ability and being able to work under pressure to meet deadlines;

Ability to move and change quickly between tasks and prioritise;

Good knowledge of MS Office Suite;

Infusion and Bluebeam experience is preferential.
