This position will assist with attracting potential customers while maintaining existing relationships by answering product/service questions and suggesting information about other products/services. Opening and maintaining customer accounts by recording account information. Resolving product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s issues, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustments and following up to ensure resolution.
On-call rotation schedule
The applicant will:
Assist with processing orders, buying product for orders, modifying stock to meet customer requirements;
Take calls and e-mails for customers, summiting quotations and entering orders into Epicor platform;
Work with internal/external sales team members to ensure communication;
Generate reports as needed and take part in departmental meetings;
Source and purchase non-stock items.
Skills & Experience
Successful candidates should have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience;
Minimum of 4 years of sales experience;
Prior experience related to valves considered an asset.
Analytical, organization, conflict resolution and problem solving skills;
Good knowledge of MS Office Suite;
Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in plain language;
Ability to work in a team environment;
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationship;
A good multi-tasker with a high attention to detail.
